Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, famous for her character Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" and has earned some fame. Calvano was born in California and first became interested in gymnastics. Later, however, Calvano determined to pursue acting as a profession. In 2010, she made her debut on screen in a scene from the CBS series "NCIS.' The actress made her debut on the big screen within a year on the Biographical Drama film "J Edgar". In the ensuing years, she has established herself to be one of the best young actresses in the current industry. In 2011 she won an award for a Young Artist Award nomination for the top Actress on a TV Series, Guest Actress 11-15. The actress was also nominated 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time because of her appearance as a guest on Disney XD's comedic series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano appeared in a number in the episodes "Mom" in its fourth season. She was a main role in the initial three seasons of the show. Calvano's performance in the role of a rising star on Mom was recognized with the Gracie Allen Award, which is presented to women who are outstanding actresses.
