Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. She is best known for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven years old. She was a niece of her aunt who served as the nanny for actor Michael Landon's children, helped her land an unimportant role in the TV show Father Murphy. Her professional career began when she graduated from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of roles both in the television as well as the film industry. Martin as well as acting, she is also a talented photographer and ballet dancer. Martin is the mother of two and the official spokesperson for Lupus. After her 19 year old sister's passing Martin has been trying to educate people about Lupus and its symptoms.
