Alison Pill
Pill began her film career with her first film in Canada But it wasn't until a few years later that she made her first appearance on the American film industry. Bruce Gray starred in an episode of Traders. Pill obtained a spot on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, and Michael Ensign, in the episode "Would If, Maybe, But Shoulda" which was co-written and directed written and acted by Naren Shakar. Pill's appearance as Picard was preceded by a more prominent and recognizable supporting role in the show as "Katie" In Devs. This show was produced through FX Productions on Hulu and was produced by the digital-VFX firm Double Negative, featured her throughout the series. The similarities with Picard didn't stop there because the primary theme the show was also revealed to revolve around the preservation of a consciousness within an artificial structure, similar to that which Data had been preserved during the revelation during the Picard season one finale "Et at Arcadia Ego Part 2".
